On Jerry's Birthday we went out to the backyard and picked as many pomegranates as we could reach. There were so many of them on the bottom branches that we filled up 3 trader joes bags full of them. We gave one bag to our neighbor, another went to Jerry's work and another ended up filling a bowl on the dining room table. I love how they look and taste. Our Friend Brandon suggested to us that we plant more fruit baring trees. I'm thinking lemon trees might be in our future. Oh how I love a tall glass of ice water with a slice of lemon.
